Worcester Dog Home Boarding

Kong toys

Your dog deserves the best care possible, and that's exactly what we offer. Our fully Council licenced, home-from-home dog boarding service based in Worcester,  provides a safe, secure and fun environment for your furry family.  We don’t use kennels here - all dogs stay as part of our extended family and have full access to our home and bespoke dog sensory garden. They’ll enjoy all the home comforts they’re used to, and we’re pleased to now offer portable refrigerated air conditioning to keep them cool in ever-increasing hot weather. See for yourself - check out our gallery of happy guests!

Your dog’s welfare and happiness is our top priority. We’d love to show you around our facilities and discuss what we can offer. Please contact us to make an appointment. To ensure that we can give you our full attention, we request that owners do not bring their dogs when viewing the facilities (our resident dogs are very nosey).

We also offer doggy daycare, subject to availability.

Raised platform

We accept dogs that are:

  • No less than 12 months old

  • Spayed or neutered

  • Non-aggressive, well-socialised with other dogs and used to living as part of a family

  • Fully vaccinated  - a copy of the vaccination card will be required before boarding.  Kennel Cough is not mandatory.  If obtaining a Kennel Cough vaccination, please allow at least TWO WEEKS following the vaccination before boarding as this is a live virus which can shed to others

  • Up to date with flea and worm treatment

  • FULLY House trained

  • Looking to enjoy lots of fuss, fun and company whilst you are away

  • We also require their ID Chip no.  If this is not known, don't worry, we have a microchip scanner here, and we can give you the number.

Independent

We are not a franchise.  Your dog is not placed with a different sitter, host or carer.  Your dog(s) will share our home as part of our family and with our two resident dogs.  They will enjoy all the creature comforts of our home and stay as part of our family

Care

We hold certificates in the following; OFQUAL Level 3 Canine Care, Behaviour & Welfare qualification, Canine First Aid/CPR, Dog Training & Behaviour, Canine Nutrition and Dog Law.  24/7 supervision and care, ensuring your dog's welfare at all times

Experienced with dog disabilities

Daily routine

Boarding dogs receive two walks a day, in the morning and evening unless there is a medical condition, age or severe weather excludes this.  When not walking, your dog has free access to our sensory garden and several sessions are set aside for 1-2-1 treat hunts, obedience, puzzle games and of course plenty of cuddles.

Enrichment

Fully secured, dog sensory garden with added tunnels, platforms, dog houses, dog friendly plants and herbs, sun shades, paddling pool and sandpit.  Providing enrichment for your dog - soft toys, balls, snuffle mats, scatter feeding, puzzles and one to one stimulation.  Multiple options to seperate dogs for relaxation and a seperate dog room.

Peace of mind

We are fully licenced to home board dogs with Worcestershire Regulatory Services, obtaining the Higher Standards of Animal Welfare award.

We are fully insured with Protectivity for home boarding, dog walking and dog taxi services.   Public liability insurance to £5,000,000.

What else?

All disinfectants we use are pet safe.   DAP collars and diffusers are available to help calm nervous dogs.  We have a portable refrigerated air conditioning  unit for hot days and a microchip scanner on site.   We provide regular updates to owners letting them know how their dogs are settling in and enjoying their holidays!

All dogs will be required to attend a 'meet and greet' familiarisation/assessment session before booking, free of charge.  This allows us to ensure your dog is not overly anxious being with us and is happy to share space with other assessed dogs.  If your dog is unable to settle, is very anxious, aggressive towards other dogs or showing high levels of seperation anxiety then we will decline your booking.  In these circumstances we would suggest a pet sitter may be a better fit.

For any stays booked for three nights or more, dogs must undertake a one-off overnight 'trial' stay before their booking. This will be chargeable at our standard rates. This is a condition of our Council licence, helping us to maintain our higher standards of care.
